From the Principal’s Desk
I am delighted to welcome you to Datta Meghe World Academy. I hope to convey the passion and enthusiasm that both staff and students bring to all that they do here, making Datta Meghe World Academy such a wonderful place to learn. At the outset, I would like to thank you for your interest in Datta Meghe World Academy. I am sure while reviewing our details you will truly realize that we are different than others. At DMWA we place every student in a position where they are afforded choices through their lives, unconstrained; by the expectations of others, by their own ambitions and by external requirements and boundaries. Student leadership is within the very fabric of the Institution. Our thriving Student Council helps to ensure that the views of our students are represented. The House system is run by students and all year groups compete and contribute to the impassioned collaboration that is the House competitions. I consider it vital that leadership opportunities are available to all, rather than an exclusive few and I am confident that our ever-evolving initiatives help to provide a balanced and holistic education. Exciting times are ahead of us and I hope you too choose to be a part of our continuing success. I would warmly welcome you to come and visit experience for yourself all that Datta Meghe World Academy has to offer.

Activities
Teaching and learning activities are all-time favorite activities of teachers and students. This year too a range of inter-house competitions were conducted so that we could identify the innate ability of every child and cater to the needs of the majority. A set of cultural and literary events were planned. For instance, Colouring, Rakhi Making, Cartoon Making, photo frame making, Handwriting, Drawing, Clay moulding, Environmental quiz, Essay writing, Newspaper reading, Solo Dance, Thali Decoration, Shloka Recitation , Elocution, Brain Teaser (memory games), storytelling, etc. were conducted in this quarter for various grades where students participated with great ardour and simultaneously the winners contributed points to their houses.
On the other hand, curricular activities had already taken pace. The teachers left no chance of refining the personalities of the students so that they can evolve as the future leaders. Evaluation -1 of Grade I to V and Revision series of Grade VI to X was successfully concluded.
Our students have enthusiastically participated in events conducted by VVSSC (CBSE Sahodaya Group) such as Spell BEE, Powerpoint presentation, GK Quiz and Group singing competition. We proudly announce that we have won the 3rd place in GK Quiz competition.

Curiosity is something that we all humans are born with. It is a drive that motivates us to lead our life. It is an inquisitiveness that initiates the process of being a lifelong learner. Whether it is a child or an adult it gives scope to everyone. Everyone is a born learner, only the way to explore the hidden facts of this world & its existence differs. In short we can say that it is an enthusiasm to explore, discover and figure things out. Paul Berg has very beautifully quoted the nurturing of curiosity and instinct to seek solution and its importance in education. Before understanding this quote it is significant to understand the actual meaning of education.
